I'm having this again, only with a baked potato instead of the turnips (which were from the freezer left over from Christmas dinnerSeasoned panko-encrusted tofu cutlets, mashed turnips, sautéed kale and unsweetened apple sauce.
That surprises me. I didn't think you could go wrong with hummus... Hmmm... maybe mix it one measure of hummus and an equal measure of cilantro leaf?...we had hummus and potato chips for dinner... it was the canned hummus and I don't think I will buy it again as about 2 hours later my body decided it did not enjoy it at all .... that'll teach me ....

I don't know... I think good hummus is easy to make, but it's even easier to buy it, and you seem to do a lot of cooking. For example, your noodley soup recipe is both simple and highly variable, as well as nutritious.I don't usually buy canned hummus (it was the Tamam brand from India) I usually buy the small cups in a pack from Walmart and that is refrigerated - we did have it once before a couple of weeks ago and didn't eat the whole can in one sitting - it could have been the citric acid in the canned version vs the lemon juice in the fresh - and yes, I should just be making my own.... I know
