. I worried it would be too dense, but it's so very good.I think the largest dried beans I've ever had were fava beans. I didn't like them, even though I cooked them properly and ate them all. I forget what I put on them... probably a little oil and some garlic, and maybe some savory. (I forget what kind of savory I might have used- there are 2 kinds. One of them is supposed to be really good with beans, and is commonly known as "bean herb" in some cuisines. I bought butter beans because so many say they're like gigante beans. I know they aren't but it had been so long since having them. I don't really like them. They're probably my least favorite bean. all mealy. Nothing at all like gigante other than a similar shape and size
