Supper/Dinner Time! What's on the menu ?

RIght about that- I did add it, as well as liquid smoke. They turned out fantastic after simmering a while!
I despise smoked paprika. I mention it because I was so convinced I would love it, I bought two different well loved brands 🙄.

I roasted cauliflower and had some in a corn tortilla with hot sauce and a smear of mayo
Also half of a sub I got for lunch--best sub I've had in a very long time, from a localish sub shop. They use Gardien chik'n fillets, arthichokes, a mix of slaw and their own vegan sauce on a really good roll

Like me, I can't abide cumin. However smoked paprika is my favourite spice. Somebody is going to bring me some back from Hungary!

I made a parsnip & butternut squash buckwheat risotto in the IP with melted Violife mozzarella, topped with more Violife prosocano, yeast flakes, smoked Cornish sea salt plus a drizzle of evo.

we had black bean asian fried rice last night - I did the rice early and put it outside to cool and maybe make some resistant starch, then my honey did the rest - it was delicious

I think I'm going to make a tofu dish. Nora Cooks posted a grilled/fried tofu dish that is supposed to be like crusted chik'n. It looked simple but tasty. I will have roasted potatoes and a broccoli/cauliflower mix with the tofu.
