RIght about that- I did add it, as well as liquid smoke. They turned out fantastic after simmering a while!also a bit of dry mustard goes a long ways (or prepared if no dry available)

I despise smoked paprika. I mention it because I was so convinced I would love it, I bought two different well loved brands.
I roasted cauliflower and had some in a corn tortilla with hot sauce and a smear of mayo
Also half of a sub I got for lunch--best sub I've had in a very long time, from a localish sub shop. They use Gardien chik'n fillets, arthichokes, a mix of slaw and their own vegan sauce on a really good roll
