Supper/Dinner Time! What's on the menu ?

Vemondo lentil & chickpea ravioli with a creamy mushroom/leek sauce plus a sprinkle of yeast flakes, Violife parmesan style and a huge drizzle of evo. Their fillings aren't that great however, it's the only shop that sells vegan ravioli once or twice during the year.

Apple puree.

I have tried a few vegan raviolis from various shops, and they have all disappointed. I did have it at restaurant once, and it was quite good. It was a butternut squash ravioli with a wonderful marinara sauce.

I'm not sure what is for dinner tonight, as I'm still under the weather. Maybe some veggie broth with some kale.

I had a really nice ravioli in a restaurant in London, but I found out last year it had closed down.

I am having a Beyond burger in a roll with a slice of vegan cheese, gherkins and ketchup. I might have a few chips too.

If you check in the Health Food shops in France I think that you will find Vegan Ravioli in a jar with sauce…
We bought them occasionally for a quick ready meal and I thought that they were Delicious! I don’t remember the brand, but it was in most Health Shops…
A few years ago I bought the Lidl Vemondo ravioli, in one of the packages there was a piece of Electrical Wire in one of the ravioli! I photographed it and complained to the store manager and online to the company - they didn’t do Anything or even Apologize!

sauteed seitan shreds with onion, peppers, and carrots with rice noodles and a teriyaki type sauce made with cornstarch. Pineapple would have been great with that, but I didn't think about it. Next time

Oh, I absolutely cannot eat them. The only time that I've eaten jarred raviolis was when I was a tot. After a tooth extraction, my mum thought that it was the only food that I could eat. The other time, someone had served them when I went to their place for dinner. They just taste like mushy, overcooked pasta in a very strange sauce. Moreover, I don't go to health food shops over here. They are far too expensive and in the one that is the nearest to my area, they sell flesh. I cannot abide the smell when I go inside.

I was actually comparing the Vemondo ones to the ravioli (uncooked) that we get in the UK, which are absolutely delicious. There are so many vegan brands and they make a lovely, delicious meal.

I had quite a nice meal last night; a store bought dish from Carrefour's; spelt, chestnut, pumpkin and smoked tofu with added organic spinach and loads of smoked paprika, yeast flakes to counteract the cumin plus a drizzle of evo.

A warm (Vemondo) chocolate and caramel lava cake.

my honey wanted pasta... again.... we had a bit of Gardein ground that had been in the freezer for a long time and so he added onion, garlic, mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, olives to that and then added fusili after cooking it - all very tasty with nooch on top

I made an Impossible onion smash burger last night. I made it two patties, as they were each only about 2 ounces and only one slice of Violife, that melted nicely between the two patties. I used my trusty cast iron frying pan for this. I normally always grill my patties, as I like that BBQ char it creates. It just doesn't work for a smash burger.
