I just had a big bowl of soup as a very late lunch so I might just have a sandwich for dinner with salad and coleslaw. Maybe fruit and ice cream later, even though it is cold today!

I made a stir-fry with marinaded soy curls
I love soy curls. They're so versatile!

I made a quesadilla last night, as I had leftover tortilla shells I needed to use up. I used some Gardein mince this time, with some black beans, onions, etc. and Violife shreds. I made guac, as usual, to go with it. It was very tasty and filling.

Has anyone tried Impossible hot dogs? They're on sale for 5.99, a dollar a dog. I haven't really liked any vegan franks though, I think I'll try them

I can't say that I've seen those in Canada yet. I love a good hot dog. The problem is I can't seem to find one anymore. There was one brand, name escapes me now, but it was pretty darn good. The sad part is it's been discontinued, as have Yves now. So yeah, I wouldn't mind trying an Impossible dog.

I have not tried the Impossible hotdog. I don't like most veggie dogs. One of these days, I'm going to try to make my own.

For dinner tonight I had roasted veggies (broccoli, carrots, potatoes), a Boca chik'n patty with pesto and a cup of blueberries from the freezer.

I am grilling up marinaded tofu, and eggplant. I think I will put them in burgers with kale leaves.

The supermarkets where I live almost always have veggie hot dogs. I sometimes buy them during the summer. Sodium is high so I do not eat them very often.

I might eat out tonight as the place I'm going to has a cafe with a good vegan menu. I'm not feeling that hungry after my breakfast and I'm going out early so I might skip lunch.

I made a soy curl stir-fry in my new wok. It was quite impressive.....I mean, my new carbon steel wok. I bought a gas burner for the wok too, as my electric stove would never reach the desired temps needed for a wok. I have wanted this set up for cooking my veggies for a long time. It's such a delicious and nutritious way to cook veggies. I just used dry seasonings and a touch of soy sauce for this, as the soy curls were marinaded and had lots of moisture.

we had tortilla chips, salsa and hummus last night as our brunch was eaten late - for dessert 1/2 granny smith apple sliced and sprinkled with a bit of salt and dipped in peanut butter - he had the other half and sprinkled cinnamon on as well
