Supper/Dinner Time! What's on the menu ?

A delicious Mac 'n' Cauliflower sauce. Absolute winner.

I shouldn't dwell on the less successful gram flour fritters that were a disaster because even when I need to use a lot of oil, I can't bear to use as much as they say in the recipe.

I had to google "gussied up" @Emma JC . In the UK I suppose the equivalent is 'tarted up' or 'spruced up' depending on your background ÷)

A salad; sweetcorn, grated courgettes, cherry tomatoes, avocado, walnuts, vinaigrette and yeast flakes.
A sandwich made with granary baguette, Flora, Dijon mustard and smoked tofu.
Half a melon from my discounted box of fruit.

I got home after 5pm after having been out in town de stringing in the heat. I also snapped my pendant and chain at Lidl's and only discovered that the pendant was missing when I got home. So, I had to walk all the way back and the pendant was on the floor by the boxes. It's unbelievable that nobody took it.

I went downstairs to the garden flat and left my neighbour some fruit from the box, also watered the plants; tomatoes, herbs and some flowers.
There was a baby magpie dead on the path. It must have fallen from the tree so I placed them amongst the flowers. Got bitten by mosquitoes so I stayed there for half an hour as the flat is nice an cool.
 
Pesto pasta with tomato basil salad and a chopped chik'n patty topped with Follow Your Heart Parmesan. I'm still eating pesto I made last fall. And it's still delicious. It's amazing how well it keeps in the freezer.

Sunday night we had Crudités or in non fancy non french is raw vegetables for dipping - used a medium tofu as I couldn't find a soft and immersion blended it with lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, a bit of maple syrup and then added in an onion soup mix, garlic powder, cayenne and had cucumber, green onion, carrot, zucchini sticks and kalamata olives along with some bread sticks and potato chips - all very tasty

last night I mashed a can of kidney beans and one of pinto beans and make a quick bean dip with added veggies, salsa, lots of spices, olives and scooped it up with blue corn tortilla chips

due to a very large noodley soup for lunch we just had salsa/hummus and breadsticks and tortilla chips - for dessert a sliced apple with lemon juice, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and 4 almonds and 1 brazil nut

I had this again, the last of it. :) I think tomorrow I'm going to make some chickpea cutlets and some seitan. I haven't made seitan in a while.

last night was lentil sprouts as an appetizer and then crumbled up two Italian Field Roast sausage and sprinkled on to 1/3 of my bread slab pizza from the freezer along with garlic powder, cheez shreds, green olives and spicy banana peppers - oatmeal cookies for dessert
