Supper/Dinner Time! What's on the menu ?

Leftover (the last) sp & pea protein Madras curry with forbidden rice and sliced bananas.

A chicory salad with vinaigrette and yeast flakes.

Sojade plain soya yogurt with ground hazelnuts, a few drops of vanilla bean plus sweetener. The former is by far
one of the best brands of soya yogurt.

Sojade also gets my vote as the Best soya yogurt! Alpro is by far the most easily available brand here in Ireland and I did really like the taste of the cherry flavour, however I usually had an upset stomach after eating it so I haven’t bought it in ages… I was also told that they use GMO soybeans so I wouldn’t buy their products anymore… Sojade is 100% organic French soybeans and made in France… Their cream cuisine or cooking sauce which is sugar free is also Excellent!

''All our soya is non-GMO. 100% of our organic beans and the majority of our conventional beans are grown in Europe (mostly France).''

I also prefer Sojade but aside the plain sugar free yogurt their other products are very expensive and out of budget. I usually buy Alpro (I also like their fruit/sugar free yogurt) as when on SO, they are cheaper. They are also in my local hypermarket so easier to purchase. I also buy Carrefour's own brand of soya milk and cream which is not GMO.

I vamped up a tin of Vemondo vegan chili. I added cooked, diced sweet potatoes and roasted red peppers. Various spices and herbs that I use when making mole. I also added a huge sprinkle of Tajin before serving it piping hot.

Considering the price and practicality, it wasn't too bad and I have leftovers for tonight.

A small orange.

Personally I prefer to buy the best Quality products rather than the best Priced ones… Even though I live on a small pension food is my Major expense and I prefer to give my Euros to to smaller companies and to local businesses… Even though I could pay less for some products at the larger health shops in the city I buy many things from our small local health shop in town… In my town So many businesses have closed, however, there are 3 nail salons, a brow salon a multitude of hair salons and barbers as well as the pharmacies, pubs and hotels… There are almost no shops other than the 3 charity shops… The main streets of many Irish towns are not very interesting… This is why I feel that Where I shop is almost as important as What I buy and what I do buy is Seasonal items and mostly all Organic…
