Supper/Dinner Time! What's on the menu ?

Green lentil & vegetable soup (IP) with some added boiled potatoes, a sprinkle of smoked paprika, yeast flakes plus a drizzle of evo. I really didn't like the potatoes in the soup so won't be adding them in the futue.

A soya yogurt with ground hazelnuts, a drop of vanilla plus sweetener.

I think I'm going to take out some potato, kale and black bean soup from the freezer. I have much to do today, and I won't have time to cook. I may make a hunk of bannock bread, though, to go with the soup.

about to make your mouth water.... while shopping yesterday I found a freshly baked pumpernickel loaf (still warm) and so we had half of that with miso spread thinly on it with a very traditional olio y aglio spaghettini with just roasted garlic and shaky chili peppers - nooch on top of course

I saw the idea for miso as a spread on a new youtube channel - Need Never Get Old - they are a bit over the top in enthusiasm however they are Canadian, plant-based and in their 50's. Both lost a lot of weight and solved so many of their health problems by going WFPB after their daughter pleaded with them to do so. They credit her with saving their lives.

I love miso smeared over plant butter on toast--even better with a clove of roasted garlic mashed in.
Love pumpernickel--which I've never been able to to replicate homemade.

I made tahini dressing for cruciferous salad mix, with kamut berries, sunflower seeds and dried cranberries
Found I like raw tahini-apparently only had it toasted before and never liked that

I made the chickpea patties with pinto beans, flavored with BTB no beef, and simmered in BTB. I added sliced onion and sliced cooked potato to the 'gravy', and some broccoli

I doctored up some veggie ramen noodle soup with peas, kale, carrots and a couple of Gardein meatless balls. The meatless balls are spicy, so it gave the soup a nice kick. It was quite delicious!

sounds like my kind of 'noodley soup' sort of meal

my honey was longing for agio y olio again so he made it and it was so good - no bread this time so potato chips for dessert...

I had a “turkey” roast with stuffing, roast potatoes, vegan pigs in blankets, broccoli, carrots, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. So full up!

I didn't particularly like that Aldi "turkey" roast so I'm going to have a "steak" slice today with all the rest of the trimmings that I had yesterday. The gravy I bought was delicious, though.
