Supper/Dinner Time! What's on the menu ?

I also had an unhealthy but very tasty vegan dinner at Veggie Galaxy: a club sandwich on toasted sourdough with vegan bacon, smoked tofu, pesto, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo with a side of the best potato salad I've ever had out (I'm very picky about potato salad, and this was almost as good as my mom's!).

Tonight I'm going to have a big salad topped with soy curls chik'n salad.

I had a delicious dinner at Unity Diner in London. I had peri peri “chicken” with fries and slaw. My husband had a vegan bacon burger. We shared a vegan soft serve sundae that had strawberry sauce and raspberries.
 
:) I consider the processed food (vegan bacon, mayo) to be on the unhealthy side, but I thoroughly enjoyed the meal nonetheless. :D A little too much fat and sodium in the bacon and mayo.

Highly processed food is only considered to be unhealthy when eaten on a regular basis and also in huge quantities. Easting a dollop of mayonnaise and a slice of fake meat with fresh vegetables and bread, to my mind is still healthy.

Moreover, it's important to enjoy your food. Better than feeling miserable and deprived all the time.

I really put in quite an effort to make sure that I enjoy all of my meals and also bevrages/drinks. For me, it's part of having a good quality of life.
 
neither of us felt like cooking much last night so we each had a dollar store noodle bowl - he had a Pho and I had the Spicy Kimchi to which we both added lots of veggies and soy curls

Oh, I heartily agree, it's just that I've been indulging a bit too much, and it's showing up on my waistline, haha. I wasn't going to miss out on an opportunity to eat at Veggie Galaxy, though, as I just love their food. :D I never have room for dessert because when I go there, I'm usually spending the day there (Boston is two hours away) or going to a concert, so I can't take the leftovers into a venue. One of these days I might go there just for dessert! Their vegan cakes look amazing.

Tonight I am eating dinner at a friend's, as we are going to see Yes in a venue near her house. So I'm not sure what it will be, but it will be vegan. I'm bringing dessert, either brownies or zucchini-banana-chocolate chip muffins.
