Supper/Dinner Time! What's on the menu ?

I have two whole frozen lemons in the freezer and don't know what to do to unfreeze/use them. :(

Last night we had nachos - Gusta ground with onion/jalapeno/bell pepper, spices and then a can of black beans mixed in - cheez shreds, green onions, black olives etc

AI says you can freeze whole lemons for up to four months with very good results.
That’s good to know about the Lemons - I don’t really like using the Long life concentrate stuff and since I don’t use lemons that often I don’t usually buy them… Now I will buy a few Organic lemons and Freeze them!

I'm working on a freelance project, and it's a big one: transcripts for about 40 hour-long podcasts about the insurance industry. It should keep me busy for a few weeks. :D

So I'm eating out the freezer. (I took all my work stuff home from the beach because it was too hot to work in my mom's condo, which is 10 minutes from the beach, and I have central air, so I'm home for a few days.) I'll be having a Beyond burger on a bun with all the fixin's plus some vegan cheese and maybe a handful of tortilla chips. I'm out of fresh produce, so I might have to scoot out for a few minutes tomorrow to get some veggies.

I have to pick up a truckload order from its drop point and plan on getting a Burger King 3.99 Wed. whopper, since it's on the way. I haven't had fast food in ?????? years! On one hand I'm kinda excited out of nostalgia, on the other, kinda scared. Just opening a paper wrapper though.....:weird:

Was it nice? I prefer the McPlant to Burger King.

my noodley soup was huge yesterday with all the cabbage etc so for dinner we kept it light - two zucchinis cut into long wedges - breadsticks a few potatoes chips all dipped in hummus with sriracha on top

I haven't tried the McPlant. I think the patty is made with some sort of seitan-based meat substitute; as I understand it, they knew some people avoid soy, but obviously wouldn't have a problem with wheat if they're having something on a wheat bun. I don't have difficulties with wheat either, but I like Burger King's Impossible Whopper (which is made with Impossible Foods' soy-based patty)- so I've been staying with that when I have a burger craving.

I just googled to make sure, and the Impossible Foods patty does include soy protein concentrate (as well as some sort of soy hemoglobin-y stuff. My Organic Chemistry professor would undoubtedly wince at what I just typed... but so what? I passed the course back then and nobody can change my grade now- it was about a half-century ago).:p:cool:

I just realised that I hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast so had the following:

This Isn't steak with boiled British baby potatoes with Flora, steamed tenderstem broccoli and mange tout.

Brixton Blue with a multigrain cracker.

A Bramble apple and blackcurrant pie.

Pink grapes.

I prefer this brand to JM's as far as their slab is concerned.
