Supper/Dinner Time! What's on the menu ?

Oh yes. I have heard of that before. I think I bought it a few times when I first went vegan.
 
Last night I had a black bean burger on a bun with onions, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes and mustard on a sesame seed bun along with some baked potato wedges. Not sure what is on tap for tonight.

@Emma JC Hmmm... Fennel seed tastes like anise, IIRC... combining that with raisins, cayenne, garlic, and turmeric would be interesting, especially topped with Indian food. Have you made that before?... and how was it?

we tend to add fennel seeds to many things - including smeat that we use for tacos or nachos or burritos - it works well in the rice and it is so nice to find one and chew on it - I have been also adding to coffee sometimes or just chewing on one or two for fun...

last night we had red potatoes/halved and baked upside down in the oven and a Yves chkn burger on the side - mushroom gravy on the potatoes - one medjool date, one brazil nut and 4 almonds for dessert

It's concentrated stock in a jar. Very expensive.
Yep. I picked up a few on sale for under $4. It really is my favorite and even at regular price (which varies where sold) I find it's the same or less as other veg chik'n or beef Boullion. I mostly just mix up nooch and herbs--and Vegeta for saltiness!
 
I cooked a big batch of Fava beans to be used in various things, the first of which was Fuls Medames tonight.

For the uninitiated, it can be summed up as Persian mushy peas with bread ÷)
 
A leftover courgette/onion/walnut/smoked tofu turnover.
A tossed salad; chicory,grated carrots, walnuts, vinaigrette & yeast flakes.
Cashew camevert style cheeze with baguette.
Strawberries.
 
I'm going to try a new to me vegan steak today for dinner. I'm going to make a salad - tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce and sweetcorn with dressing and then steam some broccoli too.
