Supper/Dinner Time! What's on the menu ?

I ordered chicken wings, mac and cheese and tiramisu from a local vegan restaurant. I feel stuffed to the gills.🤣
Wow, a vegan restaurant selling ‘chicken wings’… I’m reminded never to go there…yuk… Ok, I get they’re not actual chook wings, though can’t they call them something non animal!!!

A leek, soya curl buckwheat risotto with a drizzle of evo, yeast flakes, smoked Cornish sea salt, smoked chipotle flakes plus
some Violife grated prosciano cheeze.

Warm plum crumble with a hint of pumpkin spice served with soya cream.
Is soya cream bitter, sweet or so so? And never heard of ‘smoked’ salt!!! I’m guessing salt with a hint of BBQ???

Leftover Madras style pumpkin, soya curl and spinach curry served with brown organic basmati rice plus sliced bananas.

Apple puree with soya cream.
Hmm, I sometimes add a little fruit to the mix, though not much, as I find fruit gives a strong flavour…

I don't add the bananas to the curry stew. I simply add a few slices just before serving. I find the flavour pairs perfectly well with either a Madras or a Keralan style curry.

It's actually neutral and can be used both in savoury dishes or for desserts.

Smoked salt has a fabulous taste but I wouldn't say it reminds me of barbecued food.

I'm having a vegan bacon cheez burger using Umaro bacon, a Beyond burger, vegan cheddar plus onions, mustard and pickles. The vegan bacon is pricy, but it's really tasty, I must say. I'm also having some tortilla chips.

Ok, my mistake, but even though I don’t really follow a fixed recipe, some of the tastiest food I’ve cooked had a little apple, banana, dried fig or date added… re fruit, I ‘always’ include toms, prob my fav…

I have leftover pasta from dinner out the other night, so I'm going to add some seasoned soy curls and veggies to it, probably broccoli and onions.
