This kind of bad formula songwriting takes place in many genres but is particularly abused in country music. These shitty bands should be forced to melt down the vinyl of Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, and Willie Nelson (for starters) and pour it into their morning coffee. The genius of the greats have clearly not been passed on to them through the standard practice of listening.
