I have bought over a kilo of white aubergines/eggplant at my local farm/produce shop. They have a much milder taste than the purple variety and are really delicious.

I thought I found it in the Asian store today, and then it just was white squash. But at least they have green, yellow and white squash there! (And a lot of strange veggies I don't know what is...)
