US Vegan Costco

Maybe not. it is made differently and some people say they can taste the difference.
The process includes heating it up to a much higher temperature. and they don't put in any preservatives. The Trader Joe brand of Soy milk doesn't include any added vitamins or minerals. I don't like it as much as regular soy milk.
Interesting. I like fridge cartons of almond or oat milk , but not the shelf stable. I love TJ's shelf box of soy beverage, as well as Costcos--more then the fridge carton soy

LOL, I like it because I go in spurts with almond milk, and I hate for the larger carton to go bad, so the smaller cartons of shelf-stable milk work better for me.
That does make sense. I sometimes look for the single serving shelf stable non dairy milks for that reason. I used to see them but not anymore. Sometimes I'll see chocolate milk.

I got so used to almond milk now that I can drink an 8 ounce cup plain, straight from the fridge. But sometimes I blend a scoop of pb2 powder in it. I have at least one cup a day because of the calcium. I'd rather drink that than take a supplement.

Got these today from Costco. Neither says vegan, the hot sour soup says vegetarian, but I went through their extensive, but good, ingredients and don't see anything from animals. I expected fishy, but none.
Can't wait to try. the soup was like $10 and the tofu $11.99. Better than take out :yes:20260207_180728 (4).jpg20260207_163430.jpg20260207_163533.jpg

I've found shelf stable milks seem to have a more pronounced flavor of whatever they are, like the almond milk seems to have more almond taste.
I do like Costco soy milk that is sweetened. They had samples of the boxed oatmilk and that seemed fine

The hot/sour soup was disappointing. The flavor of the broth was good, and it was thick, but the small cubes of tofu were from frozen and had that dense spongy texture I hate. They came in shrink wrapped pucks of about 8 oz. They will be perfect to add noodles and veggies though.
I won't buy again

Oh man! I just looked at that completely deceptive picture! I should have taken one from my lunch. Looked like gravy with the white tofu bits and some kind of seaweed ( I think?)
