I haven't been lifting weights for a while coz the gym is closed covid shutdown but when I working out steady I like to have breakfast before gym. I use a cup of unsweetened Alpen (now vegan), and add walnuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, ground chia and flax seed. 4 dates and 2 prunes. cup of organic soy bev which I heat in the microwave hot so I can let soak.
Mid morning we have a smoothie made using veg juice that we make ourselves then add green leafy stuff, if kale is used then its pre-cooked. peanut and almond butter, seeds, maybe some yogurt and a small scoop of unflavoured protein powder, turmeric and black pepper. A good pint of this.
Supper last night was a chopped salad with canned mixed beans (no salt added)
When I was working I would take a lot to wrk coz I was a general labourer for a builder, now retired it's not so much on the move. Can't wait to get back to the gym.
