Ooh yeah, I've seen this... not sure how I feel about it! It's really interesting, and they're super pretty, but I can't imagine that it tastes good? Either way, definitely not the kind of thing I'll be producing

In all seriousness, I've been baking bread but I'll never be able to sell it, because I'd have to charge like 10 times what the shops do to get a fair wage for materials + my time. I'm expanding out from cakes, too - but so far it's all sweet stuff.

I'm having a very busy week, and I'm loving every. single. second! I was up until 11pm last night finishing off cakes, and I was up bright and early to do deliveries, and I couldn't be happier with the way it's all going Preparations for the Northern Vegan Festival are well underway too!!

holy crap I've been busy!

everything here sort of exploded - I started selling at huge festivals which has been amazing. Then a new vegan takeaway opened, and they've been stocking my cupcakes... they initially ordered 100 "to see how they go", and they sold out in a day. So they've been ordering quite a few more I've had to double the space I was using in the kitchen, buy a mixer, price up a full-size fridge and a second oven, and even look at building an extension onto the house to keep up with demand. I'm doing my first wedding cake this weekend, with more wedding bookings and enquiries being made. I'm turning people away because I don't have time to do things. It's getting to the point where I'm thinking of taking the risk and doing it full-time. It's all super manic and completely amazing and I wouldn't change it for anything!

OM goodness. What a success ! I thought that you had packed up your job to do the cake business full time.
From what you're saying, it looks like a far better job - baking and selling cakes. You could also perhaps hire
someone to help you out if you have such a high demand.

so sorry I haven't been around much but AHHHHH SO BUSY

I actually took the plunge and went full time with the bakery! It's all moving so fast, the one year anniversary of my little project has come and gone, I'm fully booked up for the next month + bookings in every month next year up to August, I've done multiple weddings and countless other orders, everything is just going so well I can't actually believe it's all happening!

(Also I see some of you over on Facebook, liking, commenting, and sharing, and it's so so appreciated )
