Vegan brainfood

I'm a college student, and I usually spend nights studying up until midnight sometimes. One of my ways of keeping myself awake, is snacking on something while sift through my books and notes. I have been told to snack on peanuts because they say that it's a great brain food. I was wondering if you have any more suggestions or alternative snacks for busy night studying?
 
I don't know about that but I am also told there is some magic into it. It can really help on exams so when I am studying up before also for exams, I usually take peanuts with me. If I don't have it, a spoonful of peanut butter would suffice. I got high scores so I guess it does have an effect. ;))
 
I heard that pumpkin is really good for the brain. Maybe snack on pumpkin seeds and animal-friendly pumpkin pie. You could also make pumpkin smoothies.
