TV & Film The TV Room

I have watched the new season of "The Last of Us" and I am shocked at episode 2! I saw articles saying it was a surprise and I avoided them so I was indeed shocked! Not happy with it but this happens with shows all the time. I now have 2 shows that have done this plot twist. Will not say what!
Continuing to watch "The Handmaid's Tale." Now into the final season. I read the book but I don't remember anything about how things end up.
"Andor" is back so I have to watch that too.

My daughters are trying to get me to watch the last of us but I've been resisting. Maybe I'll try it when I'm done with little house.

I was shocked too as I don't know the game! My husband knew the twist as he has played the game, but didn't tell me beforehand.

The final Season (9) of little house is awful. I miss Charles and Caroline. I'm not a fan of grown up Laura or Alonzo. I may end up skipping the rest of it and go straight to the three movies they made after the series ended. Charles and Caroline are back in those.

I'm trying the second season of When Hope Calls. I loved the first season but three main characters are gone and they brought in some new faces. I thought that would ruin it for me but so far so good.

The season finale of one of my favorite shows (Fire Country) ended on a horrible cliffhanger. It looks like 3 of the main characters have perished in a fire! I refuse to look at the spoilers about which actors will not be returning next season. What is the deal with so many of my shows killing off main characters? I hate it!

We finished off Boss last night. I think the show was canceled and that was why it was wrapped up too quickly.

we watched a documentary on YouTube about Blue Rodeo (the band) and loved it as we know all their songs and the fact that they are Canadian and yet we didn't know the story - it was a great story

I have also been watching a YouTuber from New Jersey who buys storage units and there are lots and lots of similar youtubers out there, however, this lady is so joyful and fun to watch that I have been binging her. The channel is called Paper & Moose.

We also watched another Area 52 video last night with Whitley Strieber. Anyone who knows the alien/ufo scene has heard of Whitley and I have never been a big fan and not sure of his "story", however he spent over 2 hours sitting with Chris Ramsay talking and I have to admit that I couldn't look away. Very bizarre stuff for sure.

... we haven't watched all of Bosch we have watched a lot of it....

One of my friends recommended Freevee TV. It's an amazon thing where you can watch for free but there are commercials. I had disregarded this cause I have watched some other things like that. like VOD on YouTubeTV and I didn't like all the commercials. In my case not only were there a lot of them, you couldn't fast forward them, and they kept showing the same commercials over and over again.

Anyway they said the on Freevee there are very few commercials. So I put the app on my TV and started looking for a show to watch. And there are a lot that I'm interested in. but I came across Bosch and remembered it was discussed here. Although it looks like it's mostly the books you guys love.

There are a lot of episodes and that is something I usually shy away from (commitment issues). But a really high IMDB rating. And bedsides I just wanted to check out Freevee. So I started watching it - And I really like it.

Also I've watched 1.5 episodes so far and only had to watch one short commercial. So I'm now going to watch some more shows on Freevee. Although there appear to be about 100 epidodes of Bosch (counting legacy) so I might be stuck on Bosch for the rest of the year.

And as an added plus it has as supporting actor one of my favorite redheads, Annie Wersching (RIP).* although I peeked and she is only in a dozen episodes.

You can also watch Freevee on your computer thru the Amazon website.

Watching Saving Hope. It's been really good but as usual, the final season (5) is not great. And I already know how they ended the series (spoilers) and it's dumb. So I have that to look forward to lol.

Some of my shows have ended their seasons but "Walking Dead: Dead City" is back so I have that to watch now. Also "Poker Face" is back and I like that one too. The first episode was pretty funny.
