225 g circle of ready rolled vegan pastry ( I use 50 % wholewheat flour)
300 g vegan mincemeat
3 sweet apples, peeled and sliced
30 g light Muscovado sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Unroll the pastry and place onto a greased baking sheet.
Put the mincemeat onto the circle of pastry. Place the sliced
apples over the mincemeat, then sprinkle with the sugar and
cinnamon.
Bring up the pastry around the edge of the filling. Press gently so that
the sides stand up on their own.
Bake in a 210 °C oven until golden brown.
Serve warm with vegan custard or cream.
Tip : You can also add a few pecan nuts.
