Made in the USA (Buy American)

I did not know that! Cool. I need a new blender. Hopefully they make one I can afford.
The refurbished ones on their website are from store demos. The factory is in NE Ohio, and is in the process of expanding! Keep a check on their website, I expect sales to come!
QVC sometimes has them around $349.

I am just asking
So please be kind

Why do some write of vegans with an asterisk ie., veg*ans?
It's a contraction that includes vegetarian and/or vegan.
It comes in handy when you don't want to exclude vegetarians, but are also including vegans.

I can't believe I clicked on a gun link. Oh well, I have a co-worker who brings his gun and ammo catalog to work sometimes.

I second the Ling Ling Spring Rolls. Costco has them in a large box cheap.

There are some pottery companies still going in the U.S. Most unfortunately Pfaltzgraff stopped producing in the U.S.. I still find their stuff in thrift stores though. Most of the things I cook with and eat off are second hand. Those nice white corning dishes used to be made in U.S.. Luckily they are plentiful at thrift shops. (scored some great ones at our PAWS Thrift) They make nice pet water dishes too. That's what my kitties use.

Here are two pottery companies I've had saved to favorites but have never ordered from. I did contact both and neither uses the dreaded plastic peanuts for shipping. One uses the corn peanuts.

http://www.benningtonpotters.com/ I so want that presentation bowl.
http://www.emersoncreekpottery.com/ (uses the corn starch based peanuts)

And here is some stainless made in the U.S.

Thank you for a positive and useful post!

And hi, Teresa!

I recently started buying laser printer toner from a company called Coast To Coast (http://www.alltoner.com/). They manufacture their toners in the US. They don't refill old toners - they make theirs new. That's important to me because refilled toners always give me trouble. I'm pretty happy with them so far.

I love the idea of made in America or USA and I get happy when I get made in America, however I rather also pay attention more to non tested on animal products and Vegan friendly attire.
