Whatcha Eatin?

I went to the supermarket Waitrose this morning and bought a sandwich and a ready made curry for my lunch and dinner. The sandwich was no-chicken, tomatoes and pesto on tomato bread. Yum.

I love Waitrose and always get my free mug of coffee and their free monthly magazine.

For breakfast I had two vegan buckwheat pancakes at the diner with friends this morning. They were so good. Then for lunch I had kite hill tortellini in vegetable broth. Also so good.

I agree, we are so lucky here. There are many good options if you choose to eat in or out. Today, we had THIS 'isn't roast chicken and stuffing'. It's really good. It's not huge though. It can serve two very hungry adults, or just about squeeze between two adults and two children if there are a lot of potties and veggies.

I got home late from town so had some fingers sandwiches at 2pm; whole wheat bread/spread/Dijon mustard
Smoked tofu/cabbage slaw plus a sprinkle of smoked paprika to hide the taste of the tofu. It's an awful brand and
my friend gave me the paquet.

A banana.

Totally agree. It's one of the best places for plant based food. I can't wait to come back.

I am somewhat jealous also, however, if we had so many options we would be tempted to eat out more often so for that reason I am not 'as' jealous.

I am about to eat my noodley soup.

Just finished my lunch of vegan corned beef buffalo taquitos. As the protein is sadly lacking in flavor, I fried it in a little bit of oil to crisp it up before I diced it for the taquitos. I had it with lettuce and onions. It was pretty good!

I just tried the Nush cream cheese for the first time and it was really nice. I had it on a wholemeal roll with a big mug of green tea.
