Vegan Frosting Ideas (Chocolate Cake base)

I've got a good base, but need ideas for frosting... Something nice and rich... I made peanut butter today, but the person I'm making this one for isn't too fond of that flavour.

I was thinking of coconut, or strawberry... Any other ideas, or tips for recipes?

Normally, I like vanilla frosting on chocolate cake. I use the recipe from VCTOTW but I sub Tofutti cream cheese for the shortening.

The other day I made chocolate cake, with strawberry jam, strawberries and chocolate icing. Layer it all up and you have a stunning cake - I topped with chocolate covered strawberries.

I recommend The chocolate icing was just chocolate melted and mixed with melted vegan ice cream, makes a nice, rich, sweet moose-y kinda icing.

In other news, I made a chocolate cake with chocolate icnig on the other day. It was chocolatey but awesome. Both icing and cake recipe came from Chef Chloe's book. Unless you know the person likes coconut I'd be wary of that - its a pretty common flavour for people to hate (sad times. I love coconut)
