Very interesting, and I can't say I'm too surprised. I have read something like this not long ago (although I can't remember the source), and I haven't trusted an online review since. I'll post the link if I can find the source of the original article that I read.

I don't really use Yelp much, but I know that there are a few here who do. Maybe you guys should check if any of your good reviews are still there!

Well that's fucked up. I have always relied on Yelp and have made several reviews. Now I am curious to see if they are still there. I thought the article was going to be about businesses removing negative reviews themselves which I've seen happen on Amazon.

My good reviews are still there. I'm not a player, I just yelp a lot. I even got awesome free food from yelping. The Land of Kush is my friend

Oh, I think I heard about that on 4chan a while ago.

Not terribly surprised, gaming reviews are much like that in some regards.
