TV & Film The TV Room

I haven't seen it. It's definitely a trend. However, once a trend starts to mushroom this way, it's an annoying trend.

Yeah I heard that toooo! Excited. I thought it was a good series :)

How annoying does 'The Mindy Project' look? Or is it just me who is fed up of ditzy single girl, living her life her way, sassy shows?

I have not heard good things about it. It debuted here last year and from the reviews I read, it wasn't worth watching.

Im not watching it but the advert is on all the time (usually means its crap if they have to push it that much) her voice makes me want to scream.

Totally Biased is moving to FXX in September and becoming a nightly show. It's Always Sunny and some other shows are moving to FXX too.

How I know

So I checked out the first episode of Orphan Black last night. Sooo...okay. Interesting. I may continue watching.

But I missed the first 2 minutes and have some questions. Where is it set, New York? Why do the two main characters have British accents and everyone else is American? And if it IS in the US, what are two British characters doing there? If it's a British made series, why isn't it set in London or elsewhere in the UK? :???:

I missed the beginning too and was wondering about this also.
I wasn't paying complete attention so I may have missed this, but why was she willing to give up her life and let everyone think she's dead, just to impersonate this other girl?

Apparently the dead doppelganger had money that our girl seriously needs to pay off debts and go away somewhere with her young daughter. But if you saw the end of the first episode, her plans got mucked up a little.

Ohhhhh, I do remember her trying to get money from the other girl's bank account.
Thanks. :)

I'm excited that the shows Game of Thrones and The Real Housewives of OC  are back.

I was waiting to watch an old episode of Supernatural last night and I saw a bit of The Only Way is Essex. It's awful.

Watching a Canadian show called Bomb Girls. It was supposed to be a mini-series, but it's been picked up as a regular series. It's fairly engaging; I'm already half way done so I figure I'll finish.
