TV & Film The TV Room

We Norwegians, maybe Scandinavians in general, as well as the Brits, have a tradition for quality crime series during Easter. So I've been watching the two most recent episodes of Foyle's War. Wow! So looking forward to the next one. All the previous episodes have been from WW2, but these new ones are part of a mini series set at the beginning of the Cold War era.

^ I heard about that today too. I am going to watch it as I used to really like that programme. :)

I've been addicted to Supernatural lately. I'm winning a bet with a friend to get to season five first, I'm like 3/4 through season four right now. I started watching a few weeks ago and thought it was good right away, but someone told me it'd get even better and it really has. This season especially has been soo sad. Also, Dean's so cool and I want to be him.

I've got enough series to watch that I've been putting Supernatural off. It sounds way way way too heartbreaking, and if Doctor Who can make me a sobbing mess I have no doubt this show can too.

Yeah, I really didn't expect it to be this sad at all. I actually started watching it thinking it'd be a lighter show because I was watching Buffy before but I'm in a really sad season of Buffy right now, and Angel I watch at the same time as Buffy so I decided to give Supernatural a try and now it's sad, too.

 Wasn't Tumblr a sufficient warning? :P

Haven't tried Buffy yet, ever. That's on the list. God, how long is the list now? I've got to write it down somewhere...

I started to watch the first episode of Mr. Selfridge yesterday, but I got bored with it halfway through and changed the channel.

Can anyone tell me if it gets better?

ETA: Never mind, I'm not really a Jeremy Piven fan anyway. In fact, I think he's really annoying.

In eager anticipation of Girl Meets World, I'm watching Boy Meets World from top to bottom. It's such a joy; so funny, subversive and sarcastic while still keeping up a sweet facade.

I still can't believe Topanga and Cory are parents!

My daughter and her friend are doing the same thing. She loved that show growing up, and has never been a big tv watcher. :-)

I've started watching Criminal Minds again. I got bored with it during series 6 but I saw a bit of the spin-off show the other night so it spurred me to start watching the original series.:) It's quite frightening. I was watching yesterday evening and I decided to go downstairs and shut and lock the doors to the garden just in case a killer walked in.
