500 g Strawberries; washe, hulled and pat dryed.

Place the strawberries into a large glass serving bowl. Pour over the tepid vanilla syrup and leave to
marinate for approx 1 hour.
Servec in glass bowls or glasses with a drizzle of cream and shortbread.
Tip : Do make sure that the syrup is not too warm if not the strawberries will go soggy.
This dessert looks more elegant if you use small strawberries.
