It's been pointed out to me that in fact it's not "chicks", but "cats", although to me "chicks" creates a more pleasing mental image. A different sort of cat fight, I suppose

Alright, it's been pointed out to me that it's in fact not "cats" either, but "kicks"! What can I say, I have a special talent for getting it wrong when it comes to lyrics!

Good grief, if I had a dollar for everytime I've gotten a song's lyrics wrong, I'd be a wealthy man right now. My biggest problem is that I don't even do this subtly... I'm the guy out on the dance floor screaming the wrong lyrics at the top of his lungs... much to the amusement of everyone else. Either I am hard of hearing, or I actually need to have the word NERD written across my forehead in big letters.

When I was in my early 20s maybe, I was doing a painting project with my sister and listening to the radio when "Groovin" came on. Only then did I realize that the song was not about some weird threesome "you and me and Lesley", but "you and me endlessly". I thought my sis might faint from laughter.

To be honest, whenever I hear that song, the visual that still comes to mind is of a bunch of guys overdressed in white satin, lace, and armor.
