Livestock industry now consumes 4/5 of all antibiotics in the US

I'm surprised the article only mentioned meat full of antibiotic-resistant pathogens, and not the cocktail of antibiotics that ends up in the water supply, that municipal treatment facilities can't afford to remove. Not that anyone really cares about that either.
 
The cruelty enough should get people to drop meat, but this antibiotic nightmare should scare the bejesus out of people.
