@4silva I tried growing garlic once. IIRC, I bought some locally-grown garlic from a farmers' market, and thought I'd try planting one clove of the bulb I bought, figuring it was a variety suited to my area. It put up a shoot, but when I dug it up at the end of the season, the "bulb" only had a few small suggestions of new cloves. I think I might have planted it at the wrong time of year.
