Vegan Butter Bean Mash

I'm back from the store with my butter beans! Now, lets see how long it takes me to make the mash.

I just wanted to add I used a mild veg broth so I think it helped the flavor of the beans to stand out.

Yes. My mom, 84, master of all that grows, tells me that butter beans are just lima beans that are soaked a long time. Lima beans give a lot of people gas, and soaking them helps, so according to Mom that is the deal.
