Broccoli recipes?

Hey guys

I have a good bit of broccoli to use up, and wondering if anyone has a good recipe? We love broccoli and eat it a lot - but I always just either steam or roast it as a side dish. I was looking to do something a little more interesting.

Also - I'm vegan and on a tight budget. So frugal recipes are much appreciated, and no dairy or eggs

How about raw with a nice dip made with Tofutti sour cream?

I often cook with broccoli and make the following dishes:

Broccoli soup.
Broccoli and pea soup with wholewheat pasta.
Steamed broccoli, peas, courgettes/zuchinni as a side dish.
Broccoli mash.
Broccoli bake made with tofu.
Broccoli and diced marinated smoked tofu bake with bechamel sauce.
Broccoli (steamed) salad with flaked almonds and a vinagrette sauce as a starter.
Broccoli savoury tart made with pastry and either a tofu or bechamel sauce filling.

You really can't beat a good old stir fry.

I use broccoli when I make veggie pot pie. I use the Betty Crocker recipe and veganize it.

Broccoli is very versatile and really does have a fabulous taste as long as it is not overcooked.
