Whatcha Eatin?

I had some amazing masala dosa at a local restaurant - just potatoes and lentils and vegan sambar. It was the best dosa I've had in a long time. I'm tempted to get in the car now and go back for more.

Looks yummy!
There’s an Indian street vendor who comes to some of the local Farmers Markets, he also makes a Delicious Masala Dosa!! It’s one of my Favourite Indian dishes!!!

I put some Costco frozen fries in the air fryer and thought to mix nooch in some homemade mayo. I would never have thought to have mayo with fries, but, nooch in mayo is my favorite cheesy sauce base, and they were super good together.
Oh I need to try nooch in mayo!

I haven't had masala dosa in years!

I am going to have the smoothie I made yesterday and put in the fridge. Blueberries, banana, strawberries and oat milk.

I'm having a wine biscuit with my coffee, and in a few minutes, I will make a smoothie with soy milk, bananas, PB, blueberries, unsweetened cocoa and a bit of maple syrup.

A veggie sub made with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, banana pepper rings, olives and pickles. I drizzled a bit of red wine vinegar and EVO on the bread. Delicious!

My new way of eating toast since the demise of miyokos buttery spread and not finding a decent butter replacement...I melt a tablespoon of another plant based butter spread with a tablespoon of an organic light olive oil...I feel like subbing half of the butter with olive oil is healthier (unless of course you are anti oil which I am not)... it cuts my butter use in half. Plus using melted means I use less instead of just globbing on butter the way I used to with miyoko. I keep this in a small jar on the counter and use it throughout the day as needed.

In another jar I keep a blend of nutritional yeast with Panacheeza parmesan. I sprinkle that on top of the buttered/oiled toast. It adds so much flavor, more buttery-like.

So this morning I had one piece of sourdough toast with a drizzle of butter/oil and nutritional yeast/panacheeza with a slice of veggie bacon. And some raspberries. I also had a protein iced latte.

That is so funny as I opened up my laptop just now I was thinking about parmesan cheese. I always hated it when I was younger because of the smell! I just thought that I wonder if I would like a vegan version. I might try it on pasta when I find some.

They're not all that great...I really liked the follow your heart brand but then it became unavailable. Violife is just ok for me. So when I tried the Panacheeza I was so excited but it's ridiculously expensive. I have to buy it in Amazon.

I imagine you probably may have some good choices where you are...you have all the good stuff lol.
