I got a late start as well. I just made chocolate chip scones, and I'll be having one shortly.about to start cooking our Saturday morning (oops it is already after noon) steel cut oat/split red lentils porridge - will add berries, banana, maple syrup, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, ground flax, hemp hearts and have toast with peanut butter too

what are you calling "smeat"?. I wish I'd cooked beans todayI am supposed to be reheating the smeat and adding it to a can of breakfast beans, for brunch, but I am not hungry... maybe I will put it off just a bit - will have an orange/banana on the side for sure.
edit: going to just have a usual breakfast beans/onion/jalapeno and toast plus the fruit and save the smeat for dinnertime
