Whatcha Eatin?

I made a soup when I got home as someone posted a recipe and the weather is so horrible and dark and cold that I thought soup would be the obvious choice. It was delicious.

I'm going to have a toasted bagel with vegan butter before I leave this morning. I'm going to have either marmalade, jam or vegan ham in the bagel too. I don't know what I fancy. I might have marmalade actually as I am going to squeeze some oranges to make juice.

I have the leftover lentil and pea soup I made for lunch when I get home and I will probably have a buttered roll with that too.

I had some sourdough bread with vegan butter with a cup of Yorkshire tea, I have almost run out of butter, nooo!

I am about to make a smoothie with raspberries, frozen banana and oat milk.

I’m going to make a sandwich before I go out. Quorn ham, lettuce and cucumber. I’ve been eating a lot of Quorn lately as I must have accidentally ordered two lots of both in the shopping. I have two lots of Quorn pieces in the freezer too.

I stuffed a date with crunchy peanut butter, slivered almonds common and a few raisins. It was amazing… I didn't even need the chocolate this time.

FYI and unpopular opinion… Dates do NOT taste like caramel lol. But they don't need to because they are delicious on their own.

O-M-G....if you like potato chips, and I mean, who doesn't? You are going to love this recipe! I just tried it and devoured the entire batch. These are well worth trying. I've made potato chips in the fryer before, but for some reason, rolled up like this elevates them. I just seasoned them with seasoning salt. I'm embarrassed to say that I mowed through the entire batch. That's two whole potatoes...lol

They look and sound amazing but that is way too much work for my lazy butt. 😂
You know, it really isn't as much work as you might think. If you have a mandoline, which I feel is mandatory for this recipe, the potatoes are done in a snap. Rolling them up takes a few minutes, but they fry quickly. They are so worth the effort too!

I only had a slice of toast this morning so I came home and I had a ready meal from Asda -mushroom carbonara and I added some cooked frozen peas.
