It's very simple. I haven't tried the sweet version, as I prefer the savory one this case. It's dense, but so good. Kind of chewy, like pizza dough. And I love it with jam on it. It's also good for dunking in soups.

There are like a bajillion different versions, but the one I've settled on has 1 cup of flour, a tsp of baking powder, a pinch of salt and half a cup of water. Many recipes add a couple of tablespoons of fat, but I save that for the bit of oil in the pan to get it nice and golden brown on each side. I think the whole thing takes like 20 minutes.
