We ate Sunday lunch at The Roundhill pub in Brighton and then went for ice cream on the beach.

What did you think of the Sunday roast? That's what we usually do; have Sunday roast and then go down to the i360 for a Mr Whippy.

It was a nice place. Quite busy as it was father's day.

We just had vegan sausage rolls at that Cornish bakery you mentioned on here. We bought vegan croissants to have on the train too.

Oh the Bakehouse! Yes, the sausage rolls, vegan pasties and also the staff are all lovely. Did you visit the loo? I've never seen such beautiful ones all decorated in gold!

Purezza can be very busy at times, and I always make a booking. I absolutely love their pizzas.

I don't know why we haven't been to Brighton more often. It only took 3 hours to get back home.

A sandwich made with supermarket white baguette which tasted awful (free from Lidl) with Flora, Dijon, tomatoes, cucumbers, smoked tofu)

powder and yeast flakes.

I'm now having a chunk of Applewood.

Nothing at the moment- but for lunch I had elbow macaroni topped with some red kidney beans I had cooked, and some steamed greens. I drizzled a tablespoon of canola oil on it all- but it would have been better with some minced fresh garlic. I made enough mac for leftovers tomorrow- I'll probably have more kidney bans with it, but I don't know what else.
