we are having similar weather - very cool to the point that I can't leave the windows open - it appears it will be this way for the rest of autumn - we normally have very warm weather in September where we have to use the A/C and it is so unusual that the building has not yet switched over to HEAT from COOL - winter should be very interesting

It has cooled off to the 80's and by the weekend our mornings will be in the 60's for the first time in a long time. Maybe I can open the windows and not run the AC right away in the morning.

I'm so cold lol

It's 67 in my house. Definitely not cold. But I'm freezing!

It is meant to be cooler today. I'm out to the cinema and I might have to bring a jacket or cardigan with me.

First "cold" front of the season arrives today! It will be breezy and only in the low to mid 80's.

We're prepping for a nor'easter, lots of wind and rain. @KLS, stay safe, as the coast is supposed to take the brunt of the storm. My mom was going to go to her condo, but she's going to wait it out at the beach house and hang out with friends there. I actually have work to do this weekend, so I had to come home.

Today was a nice change as it was in the 60's early this morning. It is 78 now and will only reach the low 80's. Very dry though with no rain in the forecast for several days. I actually have opened the windows for some fresh air but will need the AC as it warms up.

Not too terrible so far with the anticipated nor'easter. It is windy. There is debris from trees all around. About 14,000 without power but we're good so far.

Rain has been on and off with a few downpours. I made it home from Albany just fine. No traffic and just a little rain. The worst is supposed to come later this evening. We shall see what comes to pass.

We did have to take a detour on the drive home because of downed tree/wires. Then my friend texted that there was an explosion and wires fell on her daughter's car.

I am glad you are OK so far, KLS! Yes, I think the worst will be tonight into tomorrow. Fingers crossed that everyone in the storm's path stays safe. I got caught in a downpour doing to the store, lol. I heard a few rumbles of thunder as well. It's still pouring, but our weather guy did say we would have periods of heavy rain. I just hope the wind isn't as strong as predicted. I can do without that, lol.
