Just had a really good thunder that lasted 30 minutes! We usually only get 1-2 thunder booms/claps and then it's over.

We got a bit of thunder here too and a little rain. Rain chances are pretty good for the next few days.

It is going to be very hot today with some areas reaching 100F heat indexes. Storms expected later in the evening.
It's 32°C and boiling hot. I have to go into town once agains as I'm going to a jazz concert. I will have to leave very early as
the traffic is bad going into town. It's always a PITN when you have an appointment late afternoon or early evening and that's why I never go
into town at that time.
I'm planning to do some string foot pidges and will have a sandwich for dinner, beforehand.

I have been at the beach cottage with my mom, and the weather has been quite lovely. Sunny, dry, breezy and just all around nice summer weather. Rain is coming tomorrow, but we need it.
It's 35° C and I have to go out in the car. Moreover, I don't have AC and it's a 20 minute drive.
I had to pop out to Lidl's to get some peanuts for the pidges and it's even hotter than yesterday.
I'm dreading going into town later on as it feels even hotter due to the concrete and little shade on many streets.

I am going out today, but staying in the rest of the week until the weekend because of the extreme heat. I'm going to have to move the mattress downstairs to sleep at night as upstairs will be too hot.
