It's been snowing for approximately five hours. Everything is covered and we have about 2 to 3 inches so far.
yup, same here, blowing and about 16F - I think the worst of it is supposed to hit around 4pm - 7pm
so grateful for warmth and power and water - so sorry for those in the south that aren't equipped the way we are

I got up at 8 with about 2-3 inches and light flurries. It hasn't stopped and has been switching from light to heavy and back.
Pretty sure I'll be taking the day off tomorrow!

I don't think we got more than 8". My whole team at work is staying home tomorrow! They do say more tonight and ice under the snow

Our ice should be on top. It's still too dark to look out there and I don't really want to get out of bed lol.
It would be great to see what your house looks like from the outside. Can your neighbours take a pic? Or perhaps you're not on such friendly terms to ask them?
I'll go out in a bit and take some pics. I have to find my boots lol. The neighbors are fine/friendly but I hardly ever see them. We don't have each other's phone numbers or anything like that. We only chat if we happen to see each other outside or in passing. It's not the kind of relationship where I would call them up or text them and say hey could you take a picture of my house lolIt would be great to see what your house looks like from the outside. I'm not exactly approachable either. I do love people but I tend to be shy and I don't initiate conversation. It’s kind of odd...to really like people and then not be more outgoing. I blame it on the anxiety, general and social.

Cloudy and warm this morning with a few light showers as the cold front approaches. Temps will fall this afternoon from the low 70's this morning and tomorrow morning it will be 32.
our area received between 10-20 inches depending where on the shore of Lake Ontario you are - we have about 10 and Toronto was closer to 20 or more - it will take them a long time to dig out as so many side streets are clogged with cars parked
everything is shut down despite the sun now shining - schools etc
this is a pretty typical side street in Toronto

I first saw my car when i got up and wondered why no one cleaned it off. Then I looked outside! Looks like we got double the snow we had last night, and it's still snowing!

I could never live somewhere that had snow like that! I used to love snow when I was a child.
