TV & Film The TV Room

I am enjoying The Good Doctor because I do like learning medical things and I love the human aspect of what transpires. We are still in the middle of Season 5 and, as @KLS52 says, there is a lot of angst in Seasons 4 & 5 and I wonder if it reflects the times they were living through, somewhat, as it was covid times. Also, they are all growing as humans, even the older characters.

I will also be sad when it is done as it is a wonderful escape from the times we are living through right now also. If you haven't watched Finding Neverland, the movie, do so as you will love seeing Freddie as a child actor.

Edit: he was also in the Chocolate Factory and many many other movies

I saw neverland when it first came out but wouldn't mind seeing it again. I remember him from the Bates motel series.

I love medical shows. It had drama, romance/relationships, it can be funny. It's very human. Emotional. I hated some of it, mainly because I don't like when things don't go the way I want. But it was an excellent series overall with the exception of seasons four and five that were just mediocre for me. I will be curious to hear what Emma thought about those seasons in general.
A lot of folks do- myself included!- although the only ones I watched much were "Dr. Kildare", "Ben Casey", or "Trapper John, M.D." (OK- I basically watched these because my family was- but since they weren't sci-fi, I wasn't that "into" them).

I started watching "The Madison" which stars Michelle Pfeifer and Kurt Russel. It is another Taylor Sheridan creation and like Yellowstone is very family oriented and has the breathtakingly beautiful Montana setting. The acting is amazing also. The story is about grief and coping with it and it had me in tears through most of the two episodes I watched. I will continue watching it despite the intense emotion.

That's next on my list. Not sure it will be for me but going to give it a try.

I might try Yellowstone too.

I really liked Yellowstone though it was very violent at times and very "adult." I started watching the first spinoff, Marshalls, which is about the youngest Dutton son. It's ok and I will watch it because I like the character. I am looking forward to the other spinoff which is coming out in May.

Oh...that could be a problem lol. But I still might check it out, especially since I'm running out of shows to watch.

I tried watching Mash a few weeks ago and realized that its humor wasn't for me lol. I was disappointed.
