TV & Film The TV Room

I don't really watch reality shows, but when I can catch Worlds Worst Tenants on, I watch it.
Has anyone else ever seen it? It's hilarious, plus it's nice to see pain in the *** neighbors get kicked out or arrested.

Just watched an episode where a couple was caught running a restaurant out of their apartment. Loved the wife chasing the property managers out of the apartment with a broom because they were interrupting her cooking. She had customers to serve. :p

Never heard of it, but it sounds entertaining! What channel is it on?

I saw that too. Either way, I still find it entertaining. What other show has midgets who subdivide a bedroom into miniature condos for other midgets? :D

I'm confused also....prawn cocktail crisps are vegan!?
Yes they are!

My favourites...om nom nom!

The only ones that arent vegan are cheese and onion, and the meaty flavours by walkers as they started to use real meat juices in them

I watched a show called 'Freaks of the Deep' about creepy fish. I loved it! M was laughing because i was so focused on the TV like a kid watching a cartoon.

Then I watched a profile on Ted Bundy. All I need now is a Documentry on fungi and lichen and Ill be set for the week!

I am having my bf record under the dome for me tonight, so I can watch it when I am back over there.

Did you watch it ? What did you think?

I thought it was kind of cheesy. However, I haven't read the book yet. It just had that cheesy vibe that most of his other tv miniseries have had. Maybe it will improve over time.

So last night there was the first episode of a TV program called "eye spy" on channel 4, I believe there is a similar program in America (where you set up "moral" situations with hidden cameras to see peopels responses).

I just watched it, and I thought it was kinda interesting... it might get a bit boring after a few shows. What struck me was the difference in the response of a racist waiter in a restaurant in London (lots of people stood up for the couple) and Manchester (people didn't, or it took them a long time/lot of provocation). I've been in this situation a couple of times personally, and spoke up in defense of other people. I think it's worth recognising as well that it's a really scary situation, it doesn't seem like it - just telling a stranger in public that they're being offensive and rude and that you don't agree with what they're saying - but both times I felt really anxious and shaken, and one time it was like a 70 year old lady... the least threatening person ever! I think it's an important thing to do though, stick up for strangers.

I was shocked that only 1/50 wallets, with addresses, dropped in the street returned with the money (£10) inside. I think I was actually more shocked that 8 people bothered to return the wallet, but took out the money. That just seems sneaky... and just for a tenner. I suppose the money could have been taken before the person (who returned it) found the wallet.

What Would You Do?I believe is the American version.

I've seen it on the schedule but I haven't watched it. I guess I'll have to check it out.

I watched it when it first came on, and you're right, it does get kind of repetitious and boring after awhile.

A lot of people being discriminated against because of race, sexual orientation, etc.

One that was interesting involved someone stealing a bike in a park. If the person wasn't white, people called the police immediately. When it was a young, good looking female, men actually came over and helped her steal it.

Another one had kids(I think they were around 8 years old) being yelled at and dumped out of a car with the mother taking off and leaving them. When the kids were dressed in old torn clothes and the car was old and barely running, people came over to help the kids right away. When it was a nice luxury car and the kids were wearing designer clothes, people just stared at them and kept walking.

Im amused because I just watched an Episode of Once Upon a Time where Ruby gave Belle a book called 'The Mysterious island'

The girl who plays Belle was in LOST.

lulz.
