TV & Film The TV Room

US...but I now have the UK version available on demand. I want to start watching that too. :)
The first three seasons on the UK original are amazing. Mitchell and George are so cute in the frist series...its very chilled.

I liked the UK version much better than the US one.
Thats what I like to hear ;)

The new series has all new characters. No Annie, No George, No Mitchell :(

I'm excited...I just checked again and it looks like it starts from the beginning...and there are 32 episodes! :)
I can have my own marathon this weekend!

Attempted to watch the new show The Taste which is basically a cooking version of The Voice. Even though he's an ******* when it comes to veg*ns and is not my type at all, I find Anthony Bourdain incredibly sexy so I had to watch. Plus I knew with Bourdain being a judge along with the other very meat/dairy obsessed judges, that there was definitely going to be a vegetarian/vegan contestant or challenge. Sure enough there was last night. Two vegans and a raw vegan foodist. Sure enough all the judges ripped them apart and veganism in general. Although none of the contestants were very good representations and of course there was the token crazy/weirdo vegan contestant .:fp:

I'm still trying to figure out why a raw foodist would sign up for a cooking show. I"m not sure what exactly the upcoming challenges will entail, but I would assume it would be difficult to figure out ways to complete the challenges without using heat.

Watching The first episode of The Taste now. I found it a bit ago because there is nothing new on hulu to watch. (and he is kind of sexy)

Finally got round to starting season 5 of True Blood (was not impressed by season 4 so was in no rush.) It is awesome so far... absolutely loving it. :D <3

I miss American Horror Story.:( I've been watching Revenge but it started annoying me as the lead character has an irritating smug look on her face a lot of the time.

Ha, really? I was watching something called Kitchen Boss the other day and they were making food for a date night and it looked yummy if it was veganised.

When I'm done with True Blood, ill watch the second season of AHS. :D it's great having a laptop again. :D

I miss AHS too. I love Revenge, the lead actress used to be on Brothers and Sisters. On Brothers and Sisters she played this really naive, innocent girl, so I wasn't sure I would be able to find her believable as a vengeful woman.

Raggle - tell me what you think of AHS when you watch it!:)

I didn't ever watch that show but I thought she looked very familiar but I worked out it's because she reminds me of Michelle Williams when she was in Dawson's Creek.

Will do! Have heard only good things. & that the ending is good (think you said that too.?:))

After that, I need to catch up on Game Of Thrones & The Walking Dead.

I was watching Parks and Recreation on my MacBook Pro and suddenly had to urinate, so I paused it and it transformed into this really cool still:

So I finished True Blood season 5 which was amazing amazing amazing & Eric is the most attractive man on the planet, obviously. Now I'm gonna start either season 2 of AHS or The Walking Dead.

Anyone been watching the New series of Charlie Brookers 'Black Mirror'?
I just watched Be Right Back and White Bear.
Be Right Back wasnt as good as i hoped after seeing the adverts. But White Bear was really good.

I missed Black Mirror completely first time around, something I intend to rectify as soon as I finish watching the last episode of Friday Night Lights tonight. I blitzed through the five seasons of FNL over the past 6-7 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not perfect - there's some silly sub-plots and some bad acting from some of the teenage cast, but overall it's been well-worth watching.

I was gifted the first season of Homeland for Christmas. It's not something I really wanted or was really interested in . I saw the first two episodes when it originally started and I wasn't all that into it. I guess I'll attempt to watch them since everyone seems to go on and on about how amazing the show is.
We got this for Yule, and we've recently managed to start watching it. It's pretty addictive, and by episode 7 we were completely hooked.

We also got Boardwalk Empire, but so far we've only watched one episode. Maybe once we're done with Homeland, we'll get back to it.
