TV & Film The TV Room

I know. Its kind of the reason I watch Snog Marry Avoid. I may not be as 'pretty' as them but at least Im not as vapid.
Derren Brown+zombies=<3
I cant say Im all tha impressed with the new Red Dwarf :(

ledboots, Amy :hug:sorry for your losses.

I don't care to discuss your ridiculous view on Red Dwarf... huff and sulk...

Did you watch Derren Brown's program in the end?

I think he is definitely taking things too far now. I feel so sorry for this bloke, it's the harshest thing I have ever seen making someone believe the worlds has essentially ended and he's in a frigging zombie apocalypse (although a tad amusing).

Yeah I did watch Derren. I liked it. I think that the concept is a good one. Showing someone that they are living a selfish life, taking things for granted. I hope to see a change in the man :)

I do agree the concept is a good one, and I hope the little b*stard starts being nice to his mummy, but it's still pretty harsh. I would not be impressed if someone made me think zombies were chasing me and most of the people I love are dead

Oh, okay. I think I posted this already, but I was worried about the "sophomore slump" but no worries. Grimm is still pretty awesome. I don't know when you'll see the Halloween episode that just aired on Friday here, but I really liked it.
i'm only going to watch the Halloween episode today because it's been a busy week. o_O
but the main reason i couldn't watch it the night it aired was because i got too spooked out after seeing the trailer....about La Llorona.
this story was the first ghost story i ever heard growing up as a child with Hispanic roots and it scared the **** out of me. plus it didn't help that my older cousins loved to chant low and scarylike, "la llorooooooohhhhhhnaaaah" to see how much they could scare us, as kids are wont to do.

so yeah, i'll watch it today, in the broad daylight of the day! :fp:

So last night, during commercial breaks while watching Kitchen Nightmares on FOX, I clicked over to ABC to watch snippets of the premiere episode of Malibu Country, Reba McIntire's new sitcom. I'd been looking forward to it for weeks.

I was not impressed. :fp:

The acting was so-so, the dialogue was dumb, there was a loud and intrusive laugh track that was used after every single line of dialogue, whether it was funny or not, and it wasn't. Even the usually great Lily Tomlin wasn't that great. :(

I guess I'll stick to Kitchen Nightmares in that time period and go back to watching reruns of "Reba", RM's previous sitcom, which I started watching regularly because THAT one was actually funny, and worth watching.

I'd get it from LoveFilm. We rented one of his others from there, was very good. I think Mr Snot has a man crush on Derren Brown.
I dont blame him. Derren is hawt!

I would love for Derren to try and get inside my head. I have the feeling it may end his career...lol.

He really is! It's such a turn on how he is such a gentleman and has supreme confidence without arrogance. His boyfriend (husband?) is a lucky man.

I just saw Tom Hiddleston playing Prince Harry in the BBC production of Henry IV, Parts I and II and Henry V. I am much impressed by him, although not as much as I was by Simon Russell Beale's portrayal as Falstaff

I watched The Walking Dead, Dexter and Homeland yesterday. :) Where is Once Upon a Time?

I only watched The Walking Dead yesterday.
I need to catch up on Homeland, as well as Castle. Sons of Anarchy comes on tonight (Tues).
I still am not sure if I want to take on another show but Once Upon a Time has been intriguing me for a while now. I may just wait until the second season is over, and then marathon the first two seasons.

Ooh, I didn't know about Castle.:starshower:

I think Grimm, Homeland and American Horror Story are all much better in their second series.

lots of interesting stuff on tv tonight:
Cesar Milan: The Real Story on NGW
Liz & Dick on LMN (the one starring Lindsey Lohan as Liz)
Extreme Cougars on TLC

and of course it goes without saying, The Walking Dead on AMC!

For those who are still watching Two and A Half Men, I guess we could say goodbye to Jake. Or at least the actor who portrays him. I'll be pretty shocked if he's not fired over this:

Such a dumbass. Guess it's not a stretch for him to play such an clueless character.

He makes $350,000 per episode! He is and has been the highest paid child actor and he just threw all that away.
