The Everything Oatmeal thread

When I cook oatmeal, I like it pretty thick. That may be my issue with overnight oats...there is too much milk left and the oats don't get that nice sticky texture that I like. I never added flax meal or ground chia...maybe I should try that. I did try hemp seeds. They were just ok.

It's because you're adding to much liquid. When I make Bircher muesli, I like to add either diluted apple juice or water and add either yogurt or cream just before serving. It's definitely thick and creamy.

I had some porridge for breakfast yesterday but can't say that I really enjoyed it. It's good for you and I had nothing else that was ready to eat.
