Saving lots of money after going vegan

I agree with you on this point and have found the same myself - I didn't often buy chocolates bars but we did go on a lot of road trips and donuts from Tim Hortons or Everything bagels with double cheese was the norm - now it is just so easy not to do those things - if we road trip then I pack food to go with me now. Lot's of money saved.

btw - I asked google about your chocolate dilemma and here is the answer I received...

To buy milk-free (dairy-free) chocolate in India, look for vegan or pure dark chocolate (over 70% cacao) without milk solids. Top artisanal Indian brands like Mason & Co and Earth Loaf make high-quality, plant-based chocolate. You can also order various brands using dedicated platforms like Vegan Dukan or Cococart.

The money I save is mostly from not getting take out.

It used to be that on the way home I would stop for take out. But since most take out isn't vegan (not to mention not healthy and expensive) I just Have to wait till I get home.
I also now do a lot of food prep and bulk food cooking. So not only is there food that just needs to be heated up at home but also if I don't eat it it will go to waste.

Going vegan has also made me develop a lot of self-control. I used to be very impulsive earlier.
