So basically I wonder if certain supplements like protein powders are tested on animals?
Cause I never really thought about it before, but I saw someone saying that "a bunch of packaged food is animal tested" which tbh after looking into this question seems like an exaggeration, because if I understand it correctly they only test newly created ingredients on animals for a safety test in some cases?
With supplements it's a bit different, I feel like they could be animal tested more commonly... so I check the vitamin brands I buy.
But recently i was looking for a vegan protein powder and i found some, but there is no information about those brands and animal testing. Yk they dont exactly put "cruelty free" on food like they do with cosmetics. Even though i doubt protein powder would be tested on animals im a bit paranoid at this point
Any thoughts?
