Pictures of Snow

Not too shabby. Worked out well, though, because it’s stopped already and the roads will be wet and not snow covered. So I will be able to get Ben to the vet once we clear the driveway.

The last few days, we've had that snow that looks great: the soft, fluffy kind that sticks to trees, and because it's not windy and there's only about an inch or two on the ground, it makes the trees and everything else look AMAZING... the kind of snowfall that can turn a snow hater into a snow lover.

And I don't have a digital camera to post it here... not even a cell phone. GRRR. ARGH.

A little weak but pretty. Pictures just after daybreak. Hopefully it will continue for a couple more hours so we can get another inch or two. It’s light and fluffy.

Well this was a surprise. I expected that the rain would've melted it already. It's a couple of inches which is nice and the grass is finally covered. It's a wet snow and 38° right now so it shouldn't be an issue for anyone out on the roads.

There’s a lake across the street and my neighbor sent this photo from her backyard.

My neighbor and I share a driveway, so the two of us tag-teamed the snow removal, lol. He had a little snowblower, and I had my awesome shovel where you basically push the snow around and dump it, rather than having to lift each shovelful. It's a genius shovel, lol.

Is it called the man plow? I bought one for my husband and son when we still lived in New York lol. Our driveway is so much smaller here in Connecticut. My son got it done in no time flat.

I think we reached 8 inches! Now I'm rooting for the sleet to stay south of us. I don't want a layer of ice on top of all of it.
