It is in East London. If you ever venture over that way The Gallery Cafe is well worth a visit, it is vegetarian but it has a lot of vegan options too.
This just came up at the bottom of my page when I was in the Beer thread.
I went to the Third London Vegan Beer Festival this weekend. This year it was in King's Cross.
I have sinusitis at the moment so couldn't really taste much and didn't really feel like drinking, but I'd convinced 4 omni friends to go and pre booked tickets so felt I had to. I think the nicest beer I had was called "Ocean Warrior" and the money went towards Sea Shepherd. There were a few non-alcoholic drinks available and a wine bar for the less beery people. The downside was how busy it was - there was only one food stall and we had to queue for an hour to get lunch (which was either a Fry's burger or homemade pizza). I also got a snazzy pint glass free, which they refilled each time I got a new beer so there was no wastage. I'd go again definitely.
I find it hilarious how I was telling my friend I'd never been before, as I'd never known the event was on.... then I see I commented on this thread two years ago. Oops!
In case anyone wonders, the clear one is ginger beer. Mine's the one on the far right, I think it was called phoenix.
That's awesome Liz, festivals are fun but definitely a mad house with the massive amount of people and the lines. It looks like they were generous, festivals out this way you only get 8cl pours
